WANDA–THE MOST PRODUCTIVE AND
LABOUR SAVING WAY OF TUFTING
Working procedure: The cushions are placed on a conveyor between two HECTOR standard machines, placed opposite each other. Via a photocell the cushions are fed into position and the tufting takes place automatically.
The HECTOR machines are mounted on wheels, which make them easy to pull apart for service and change of bobbins. The needle distance between the sewing heads can be set between 14,5 and 20,0 cm. The computer can hold several patterns. Normal working rate is 8 couples of tuftings per minute. WANDA can be combined with the ALEX and an automatic packing station.
Standard equipment: Conveyor 4×0,5 m with 3 grip bands 9 cm wide.
Thread guard for the upper thread.
Alternative: Manual version TWIN without conveyors
automatic tufting in double rows.
